This new wave E&E rake set is based on Christina Palmer's years of research and development, including her evaluation of the Raimundo Bogota and various commercial wave rakes. She performed mathematical modeling, finite element analysis, and multiple rounds of prototyping.

In testing these picks, Peterson found them to be extremely effective. The waves span a full inch to eliminate the need for precise insertion depth and enable simultaneous interaction with 7 pin stacks. The approximate 1.25 inches length prior to the twist allows for use most, if not all locks.

The uniform tapering from shaft to tip, maximizes strength and eliminates stress concentrations that can cause picks to snap. With good technique, instant opens are possible. This offering is similar to the SERE(tm) style. Peterson calls them: E&E (Evasion and Escape.)

To insure durability, these picks are made from Petersons famous "Government Steel." They use their kinetic tumbling system to gain an ultra smooth finish and excellent pick operation in the keyway. One issue with existing picks of this nature, is the operational length tends to address 5 pins or less locks. One of Petersons advances is to extend the reach so that locks having 7 pins or maybe more, can be manipulated.

An additional issue in Europe is the clutch action inherent within many of their locks. If the clutch is not pushed to the rear (normally performed by the key) you will find that you end up picking the plug, but the lock will not open. In this kit, you will receive a G3-GSP and a G4-GSP, plus a long turning tool so you can depress the clutch as you pick.

The picks in this set are of the Cycloid variety, and are made from Petersons famous Government Steel.

Cycloid wave rakes with a sine/cosine ratio of .25 provide grabby action that is ideal for picking locks.
